UNDATED (CBN) — Two inmates in the Nebraska State Penitentiary are helping victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Clayton Kern and Willie Tucker are both serving life sentences for murder. Both inmates sent $10 to Haiti. That may not sound like allot of money…but Kern only makes $3.78 a day while Tucker makes only $1.21 a day. So their gifts are a sacrifice. Kern said, “A lot of people in Haiti lost their loved ones…if I can help them in any way…I feel blessed to do so.”
