Founder Dr James Dobson of Focus on the Family organization stepped down as the chairman of the board last year.  At the end of this week, he’ll be stepping away from the familiar radio program Focus on the Family after celebrating 33 years of ministry.   But by no means is he stepping away from being an advocate for the Christian family.

Dr Dobson will remain as the spokesperson for Focus on the Family Action, Focus’ sister political organization.

Starting May 1st, Dr Dobson plans to start a new radio feature called Family Talk, but through, Ambassador Advertising a different Christian program distributor.
